A pilot study in which an Australian gynecology hospital introduced a surgical coaching program over the course of three years, sparked by an interest from gynecologists to improve their technical skill confidence and intraoperative teaching practices. Participants reported short-term self-perceived improvement in surgical skill and confidence and an intention to introduce a more structured approach in their teaching.
