For more than a decade, our research has found that surgical coaching adds value- Value to surgeons, patient outcomes and the medical field as a whole. Coaching is a tool for surgeons to achieve meaningful continuing professional development. To serve the growing demand, we built the Academy for Surgical Coaching. Our video-based coaching platform connects surgeons across institutions, both nationally and internationally. The Academy is an independent nonprofit organization providing surgical coaching services to professional societies, healthcare systems, and individual surgeons.

Surgical Coaching Achieves Performance and Quality Improvement CME Designation

We’re proud to announce that Surgical Coaching has been designated as a provider of Performance Improvement and Quality Improvement (PQI) Continuing Medical Education (CME). This prestigious recognition underscores our commitment to advancing surgical excellence through evidence-based coaching and continuous professional development.

What This Means for You

The PQI CME designation recognizes educational activities that go beyond traditional learning—focusing on measurable improvements in clinical performance and patient outcomes.
