Summary

In this study of coach/coachee interactions in the Ariadne Labs/Harvard Surgical Coaching for Operative Performance Enhancement (SCOPE) program, 46 surgeons underwent a surgical coaching workshop and subsequently coached one another. Coaching techniques used by surgeons are provided. The results demonstrate that short-course coach trainings can aid surgeons in applying the core principles of effective coaching with their peers.
