A commentary and critique of the article “Coaching Experts: Applications to Surgeons and Continuing Professional Development” by Zahid et al. Authors suggest that target article fails to address the benefits of coaching in a broader context to surgeons than simply technical skills, namely surgeons’ non-technical skills and the patient experience.
