Summary

Qualitative study to determine the ability of surgeons to transition to a co-learner role during peer-coaching sessions in the Michigan Bariatric Surgery Collaborative. In this study of 20 surgeons trained in coaching principles, researchers found that participants frequently alternated between roles of coach and coachee and demonstrated bidirectional exchange of ideas where appropriate.
