  2. Institutional coaching: Panel discussion on pilot project results in improving organizational culture, addressing well-being, and supporting surgeon retention
  3. Executive coaching: Strategies to elevate surgical leaders and support their ability to excel.
  4. Addressing underperforming faculty: Comprehensive model to discover foundational issues and provide coaching to improve technical, interpersonal, and executive functioning skills
  5. Surgeon readiness: Addressing the needs of fellows and new-to-practice surgeons

The Academy for Surgical Coaching is an independent nonprofit created to drive excellence, innovation, and collaboration for surgeons’ continuing professional development by bridging the disciplines of surgery, coaching, and technology to advance the field, enhance surgical culture, and ultimately improve the quality and safety of patient care.

With coaching programs that have been built based on the findings of over a decade of research, the Academy provides surgical coaching services to professional societies, healthcare systems, and individual surgeons.
