Surgical coaching can change the way you learn and develop. Join the Academy for Surgical Coaching for a Surgical Coach Training Session. You will learn the mindset and skillset necessary to be a great surgical coach. Additionally, you will be able to experience our coaching environment where you can connect with your peers. Hands-on practice and interactive conversation guide the training.
The Surgical Coach Training Course consists of a 6-hour, full-group session that involves a didactic component, interactive reflection, and small group breakouts to apply coaching skills.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the American College of Surgeons and the Academy for Surgical Coaching. The American College of Surgeons is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The American College of Surgeons designates this Other activity (surgical coaching and training) for a maximum of 5.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
